Speed and accuracy is what it takes to win the Single Stack Nationals.
The USPSA hosted the 2015 Single Stack Nationals on May 6 – May 9, 2015 and drew 390 of the most fierce single stack 1911 shooters from around the country. Hosted this year by Springfield Armory, they had some of the toughest and fastest shooting 14 stages around. A combination of steel and paper targets littered each stage, forcing shooters to engage targets in the fastest time they could muster.
Taurus sponsored shooter Jessie Duff took to the challenge and shot in the match this year. In this quick video, we follow her through Stage 13, the “Window Warrior” as she shoots some fast times.
How impressive is that?
Competition shooters only go for the tops when it comes to firearms. They want the best handgun, the best shotgun, and, if they’re allowed in their competition, the best air rifle. There’s a wide variety of competing opportunities for a wide range of guns, so go find something you’re interested in and enjoy your time shooting even more.
