Jep Robertson from Duck Dynasty Recovering from Seizure While Hunting

Jep Robertson of Duck Dynasty almost dies after having a seizure while deer hunting.

Jep Robertson, one of the stars of Duck Dynasty, suffered a seizure while deer hunting on Oct. 19. The 36-year-old Robertson was in a tree stand with hunting partners when it occurred. He was rushed to hospital and treated, according to a release sent to E! News.

No cause for the seizure has been determined. Robertson is being given antibiotics to treat possible infections that could have caused the event.

Robertson, son of Phil and Kay Robertson, works for the family's Duck Commander line of duck calls. He also films the clan's popular hunting videos. Robertson's brother, Willie, who is CEO of the company and stars in the show, was present at the time of the seizure and aided his brother.

Robertson remains in good spirits. He tweeted a picture of himself in his hospital bed, comparing himself to Steven Seagal's character in the movie "Hard to Kill."

Robertson is married to Jessica Roberston. The couple has four children and celebrated their wedding anniversary earlier in October.
