We've heard the horror stories of the buddy who lost a finger on the job. These indestructible gloves are working to change that ending.
The AB5 Safety Mark VIII indestructible gloves invented by Jorge Sgombich to withstand the worst tools workers face on the job, from bladed tools to axes. The gloves are made from nitrile, cotton, and a secret material that Sgombich won't share with the public, and they are essentially indestructible.
After winning a gold medal in the Safety and Security category at the INPEX awards last month (Invention and New Product Exposition), videos of the gloves in action have taken the internet by storm.
Cringe all you want as the hammer comes crashing down on the user's thumb - it doesn't hurt him a bit. While the above video was in Spanish, the below one has more detail, as well.
The gloves aren't just marketed toward construction workers, however. Sgombich believes that these gloves are multi-use and multi-purpose, serving anyone who works with dangerous tools well.
These gloves would be perfect for hanging that treestand, right?
