This Incredible Time-Lapse Video of Yosemite Will Blow You Away

Watch this time-lapse video of Yosemite for some amazing, rarely-seen shots.

When photographers Colin Delehanty and Sheldon Neill set out to capture a time-lapse video of the National Park in 2012, Yosemite HD,  they knew they could do better.

The resulting Yosemite HD II is a five-minute piece of visual art, and National Geographic asked the photographers to guide viewers through some of the more stunning shots.

Read that piece, but only after watching this awesome video. Check it out:

Well-known Yosemite spots like Echo Ridge, Clouds Rest and Diving Board are shown in incredibly clear high definition, and sped up to produce the classic time-lapse effect. Shooting stars, the rising and setting sun, and the amazing scenery make this video a must-see for anyone who appreciates our country’s beautiful wilderness.

Considering the amount of work involved in producing such an epic short film, Delehanty and Neill should take a bow for their handiwork. For more information about their project, go here.
