How Did These Antlers Get in This Tree? [PICS]

Jim Shockey/Facebook

Jim Shockey shared an interesting sight of a tree trunk that grew around a set of antlers. How would you like that in your yard?

Steven Fell shared this photo with Jim Shockey of a tree that grew around a pair of antlers that he found while he was bear hunting in northern Saskatchewan.

Either the deer had died and the tree grew around the antlers, or maybe the antlers were stuck in a branch from a shed, but however these antlers got there, it must have happened a long time ago for the tree to have time to grow around them.

This is quite a rare sight and it would be a pretty cool yard ornament. What a find!
