The hoverboard flight distance record was broken in southern France with an amazing run of 2,252 meters.
Franky Zapata mounted his company's "Flyboard Air" went into the sky, and when he came down he was the new Guinness World record holder for hoverboard flight distance.
The old record was held by Canadian inventor Catalin Alexandru Duru and was set at 275.9 meters or about 905 feet, compared to Zapata's amazing 7,388 foot flight.
