Next time you make upgrades to your hunting area you may want to add this unconventional way to get to your treestand.
When you build a new treestand you have to build a way to climb into it. For most people that is a ladder of some sort. But when you really think about it, is a ladder the most effective way to get you and all of your hunting gear in and out of the stand?
Enter the climbing bicycle; an unconventional way to get to your treestand, but one that looks to be quite effective. Check out the video below to see the climbing bicycle in action as he uses it to get in and out of a treehouse.
As long as you kept the bicycle in good condition there is absolutely no reason that the climbing bicycle would not work for a treestand. You could even add storage compartments to the sides of the bike to safely transport you and all of your gear up to the stand at the same time.
Has anybody ever tried anything like this? If so we would love to see your creations; share them with us @WideOpenSpaces.
Oh, by the way… yes, that was a bear in the background.
