I don't know about you, but I don't think I'd ever seen an archery hog drop shot before I saw this video.
Though I wouldn't say that a hog drop shot is an exactly common occurrence with a rifle, they still happen pretty regularly. However, an archery hog drop shot is a much more rare event. I'm not sure who was more surprised when it happened here: the hunter or the hog.

It appears as though he hit the hog a little high and forward with his arrow. Perhaps that hit an important bundle of nerves or even the spinal column.
Regardless of how it happened, this archery hog drop shot meant meat on the table along with an easy tracking job and recovery for the hunter. Nice work!
