See the latest gigantic tiger shark to be landed in Australia, this one more than 13 feet long.
Australia’s Max Muggeridge, a 19-year-old angler braver than most of us, caught this incredible tiger shark off the Gold Coast last weekend. The shark was more than 13 feet long and was released after landing.
“About 20 seconds into the fight I realized I had maybe bitten off a little bit more than I could chew,” he said. “I first hooked it at 7:15 a.m. and I got it on to the land at 10:30 a.m. My hands are covered in blood blisters.’’
Muggeridge released the tiger shark shortly after landing it and snapping photos.
