Crop harvest is a special time of year for many folks in this great nation. It's how many of us make our living. For some of us, it's a tell-tale sign that cold weather is coming. For others, it means hunting season is finally upon us. Some just simply enjoy the scenery and images that come along with the changing landscape.
As farmers, we know any time we're in the field, we may be in for a treat. We could see a big buck on the horizon, flush a group of pheasants, or in this case, a crazy herd of wild hogs. Yes, you read that correctly.
This video, posted originally to the Combines, Harvesters, and Thrashers Facebook page, shows a chopper mowing down the last of a section of corn. Just prior to the end of the row, but you'll notice some rustling of the corn. Just then, like a bolt of lightning, out jumps a whole mess of wild hogs. One could only wish the camera man had an AR-15 with him instead of the camera. However, then we wouldn't have had this cool video to watch. How many of the little porkers can you count?
