In South Dakota, mountain lion sightings have become more common, but nothing made this biologist more pleased than this!
Dan Roddy, biologist, was checking the southern fences at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota when he had a surprise visit from a curious critter: a mountain lion.
While checking the fence, Roddy spotted a critter moving toward him. While he thought it was a coyote, it turned out to be a mountain lion out for a casual stroll through the park.
The mountain lion didn't spook when it saw Roddy and instead kept on its way, as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening.
This kind of sighting is definitely a biologist's dream!
