Small game hunting is a fun way to satisfy your urges outside of deer, elk or other big game hunting opportunities, and prairie dogs fit the bill perfectly. They're small enough to make for great target practice, wily and semi-smart enough to pose a challenge, and abundant enough in some places to give plenty of chances.
