Double Catch: A Pike and a Snapping Turtle

Have you ever caught someone else’s meal? This angler catches a pike and a snapping turtle.

When we throw our lure into the water, we all have the expectation of catching something. Sometimes we are rewarded, and sometimes not. The fishermen in this video has hooked up, but another hunter has laid claim to their catch.

Sometimes it’s better to not take another creature’s meal. There is always a bigger fish, or a bigger turtle…

Under normal circumstances, removing the hook from a pike can be an exercise in caution. Now attach a snapping turtle.

We’re not sure if we’d rather take the lure out, or just reach inside of a wood chipper. At least the wood chipper can’t think for itself.
