The is the real-life story of "Homeward Bound."
A Fresno County Dog that went missing for 24 days alone in the wilderness has been found. Chloe was lost somewhere near Dinkey Lakes Wilderness Area and found near Courtright Lake.
"I wish she could talk. She'd give me one hell of a story. What she ate, what was chasing her. You know, where she went," said Ed Campos, Chloe's owner.
"Not so much about the bears, but the mountain lions, especially after the ranger said that the area she was spotted that there were mountain lions and that's what concerned me the most because the smoke jumpers said she had a high-pitched yip," said Sandy Campos, Chloe's owner.
The dog was initially lost after a bolt of lightning hit near the camp of the owners, who searched for days for the pup to no avail. The family said they wouldn't give up hope, while friends, family, and complete strangers helped search for Chloe.
It was a happy ending for this family after all.
