Detroit Sinkhole Turns into Fishing Hole [VIDEO]

It’s always nice to find a local fishing hole, but it usually isn’t a sinkhole in the street.

There’s been a sinkhole for so long on Hull St. and McNichols in Detroit that residents decided to turn it into a fishing hole.

After four years, the sinkhole now has bluegill, goldfish and carp that reproduced after residents decided to put fish into the hole.

While residents like the fishing spot, they would rather have the road repaired.

There are indications at the hole that a utility company started digging it several years ago. Work stopped for an unknown reason.

Unfortunately, no city department has stepped up to fix it yet.
