Chuck Woolery Speaks His Mind About Assault Weapons [VIDEO]

An assault weapons ban in the U.S. seems to be a never ending argument.

You might know Chuck Woolery as the host from the popular TV show “Love Connection” from the 80s and 90s.

Well, you may or may not know this, but Chuck is an advocate of the Second Amendment and has a strong opinion on possible assault weapon bans. A topic that has been touchy in the U.S. for a few years now.

Agree or not, Chuck makes some valid points.

Outdoorsmen, shooters, hunters, or any gun enthusiast can probably relate to Chuck’s opinion on assault weapons, but there are many that want to prevent law-abiding citizens from owning such firearms, and feel some sort of ban would prevent tragedies from happening. And there begins the debate…

There is a quote that I heard as a child that to this day still resonates with me because I feel that is still has validity even today.

“You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass.”
-Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto during World War II

Misconceptions, misunderstandings and miscommunications have clouded the debate, and it will only continue to be a hot button issue in America as years go on.
