If you haven't applied for concealed weapons permit yet, this might motivate you. A concealing Chicago civilian held at gunpoint was able to protect himself against a car jacker in this footage outside a gas station in Elmwood Park.

I hope and pray that nobody reading this ever finds him or herself in this situation. If for some reason you do, it's always better to be prepared rather than being helplessly held at gunpoint by a random burglar.
The owner of the car, probably very scared, sped off from the BP gas station, but police stated that he acted in self-defense and won't be charged.
The robber did, in fact, die from his gunshot wound later, after he ran off.
