The Gaulois Palm Pistol was a fist full of trouble in the late 1800’s.
This odd pistol was the ultimate in conceal carry.
Ian from Forgotten Weapons gives us a lesson on this historical handgun.
The Gaulois Palm Pistol is quite a concealable handgun. This handgun was made by Manufrance concern in St. Etienne way back in the 1890’s.
It fired five rounds of a type of 8mm ammunition that had the power close to that of the .32 extra short cartridge. Not a big powerhouse, but quite a quick shooting fistful of lead surprise, up close and personal. At a card table, it might just save the owner’s life.
