Celebrities Join President Obama to Push More Gun Control

Under the guise of combating gun violence, Hollywood celebrities again joined forces with President Obama to push gun control.

A new star-studded PSA called "We Can End Gun Violence" from Everytown for Gun Safety debuted last week calling for more gun control measures under the guise of ending gun violence. In it, the President, celebrities, and other gun control advocates suggest the need for more gun control by repeating the mantra, "We can end gun violence."

Notable celebrities who appear in the video are Amy Schumer, Jennifer Aniston, Sophia Vergara, Kevin Bacon and Spike Lee. The clip also includes survivors of gun violence, victims' families and other gun control advocates.

Halfway through the video, President Barack Obama affirms his support for more gun control: "When we come together, Americans can do anything."

Everytown for Gun Safety, a group funded by anti-gun billionaire and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, is known for pushing so-called gun safety measures that result in disarming law-abiding gun owners while glossing over criminal activity.

Amid their calls for more gun control, one cannot help but wonder if these celebrities would be willing to abandon their own security detail, who are usually armed, in the name of ending gun violence. Or perhaps they will quit being hypocrites and stop making violent movies? Time will tell.

We should wholly reject disingenuous PSA's lies that promise gun safety but deliver the opposite.
