For all you lovers of fried catfish, this video is for you.
You better start making all of the fixings now because we already have the catfish. Imagine fried catfish, hush puppies, coleslaw, corn on the cob, fried okra, mac and cheese, and of course you would wash it all down with ice cold sweet tea.
Now that I have your attention with a great southern menu full of soul food, you probably want to see the catfish before we set the table.
They act like they have been trained, and they probably have. This is most likely a common scene to the people living there.
Those fish are flopping out of the water and along the edge, doing anything to get to the food. Some can't event get in the water because of the sheer number of fish pushing up underneath them!
That reminds me of a time I was fishing one of my favorite rivers out west during the salmon fly hatch. My buddy and I watched as a trout jumped up into the bank side grass to grab one of the large bugs, and then flopped back into the water. That was just one trout though. Here we have what appears to be hundreds of catfish all vying for the best feeding spot.
Just think about all of the fried catfish you could make with those.
