Cardboard Schwarzenegger 'Terminator' Standee Mistaken for Gunman in Toronto

A cardboard standee was mistaken for a gunman in Canada recently.
It's generally not a good thing when police get a call about someone with a gun. But no one could have predicted the outcome last Thursday when Toronto Police responded to such a call downtown.
The police tweeted out a warning of what was going on as they responded to the call of a man with a gun at around 9 p.m.

Officers were no doubt very relieved when they determined it was a false alarm. A search of the area revealed the gunman was actually a cardboard cutout of Arnold Schwarzenegger dressed as his cyborg-from-the-future character from the "Terminator" movies.
No word on how someone mistook a piece of cardboard for actual danger, but the at least the Toronto Police had a sense of humor about the strange incident when they tweeted an all-clear message, including the hashtag "#IllBeBack."
