This is exactly what you don't want to happen when you're setting up a tower blind.
Justin Roepke and Steve Niemerg set up the video camera to record themselves trying to connect the ladder and platform to their tower blind.
But, what they didn't know is that they were going to capture an accident that could have left Justin with more than just a few stitches...
Using a tractor is a pretty common way for hunters to get elevated and put the finishing touches together for their tower blind. It's a quick and easy way to get the job done, that is, unless your buddy bumps the bucket control lever on his way off the tractor sending you straight to the ground.
Luckily for Justin, he managed to grab the tower's braces and keep himself upright, but he did suffer a nasty gash on his wrist during the fall. This is definitely an accident that could have turned out a lot worse, but about an hour and five stitches later, they were back out there ready to finish the job.
The best part of the video is at the end when Justin says, "No, I think I'll take the tractor."
