That striper is just about all this boy could handle!
Sam Adams is only 47-inches tall. However, that didn't stop him from bringing in a giant New Jersey striper that measured out to be a quarter-inch smaller than he is.
Adams was fishing with his grandpa, Don, who was there to catch it all on tape.
According to the story, Adams and his grandpa were fishing in the Long Beach Island Surf Fishing Classic. With this giant catch, Sam catapulted into third place for the largest striper caught during the tournament, and first place in the junior's division.
This big fish ended up weighing in at just over 42-pounds. Adam weighs only 46-pounds on a good day. To say this six-year-old boy caught a fish as big as he is would be pretty accurate.
As per the video, it's pretty neat getting to hear Don's words of advice to his grandson as he reels in that giant striper.
