Watch the Bow-Mag arrow tip with an inserted .357 load test fired.
An arrow tip that sports a .38 or even a .357 load? Now we can fling arrows at our favorite game and it will explode, right?
Hang on there, Barney Fife.
YouTube user TAOFLEDERMAUS test fired some of the arrowheads that Bow-Mag makes and it seems like they need to go back to the drawing board.
It seems that after using some of these nifty arrow tips, a few problems and questions arise.
They said they spent $40 for six of the plastic Bow-Mag arrow tips. Only the firing pin was steel.
The arrow tips don't come with ammunition, only the plastic casings. They also don't come with arrows either, and according to the testers, it damaged every arrow they fired!
The worst part of the test seemed to be the fact that each and every Bow-Mag was destroyed upon firing giving the user one shot per device. That's some expensive shooting.
