This time of year, New England is set ablaze with autumn color. Peak leaf-peeping season is finally upon us! Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut prove fall is truly the best time of year to enjoy the spectacular weather and majestic vistas. Here are ten of our favorite postcard-perfect locations to take in the best of New England's fall foliage!

1: Acadia National Park, Maine.

There are many majestic locations along the Maine coastline to enjoy the blaze of fall color against the deep blue of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is arguably one of the most spectacular.

2. Lakes Region, New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire countryside is picture perfect this time of year. Even a cloudy day cannot mute the autumn colors.

3. Northeast Kingdom, Vermont.

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to visit Vermont and experience the Northeast Kingdom first-hand, it is worth adding a trip to the bucket list! Fall colors bring the mountain ranges to life in a patchwork of color.
