Bears eat more than blueberries and honey. It's made apparent when this brown bear attacks and eats a live elk calf. I must warn you though. The elk calf makes a loud distressed noise as the bear drags it away.
This raw uncut version is an example of everyday life in Yellowstone National Park. Bears have a large variety of items that make up their diet. Meat is definitely on the menu. It could be fish or even an elk as proven here in this video.
Bears are certainly apex predators and will eat whatever comes conveniently. Unfortunately for this calf, it became dinner.
