Barnett Crossbows Sued Over Hunter’s Thumb Injury [VIDEO]

Barnett Crossbows is being sued by a man who says a crossbow injured his thumb.

While shooting from a tree stand this hunter’s thumb got in the way of the released bow string.

Barnett Crossbow Company is being blamed for hunter and shooter-related injuries after dozens of complaints against the company and its crossbows.

This hunter fired his crossbow from a treestand at a deer. Instead of hitting the deer, he hit his thumb with the bow string during release because the bow lacked finger guards to keep fingers away from the string.

A note to crossbows users always watch where your fingers and thumbs are when shooting a crossbow.
