Jarrett Babincsak pens the blog The Hunter Conservationist, works extensively with the non-profit public lands advocacy group Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, and is a solo adventure hunter. He was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, has lived in Ohio, Missouri, Colorado and Arizona twice, residing now in rural New River, Arizona where he’s raising goats for backcountry packing and chickens for eggs. He’s a father to two and husband to one – lucky ladies all. He holds undergraduate degrees from Indiana University’s schools of business and journalism, and an MBA from Arizona State University. He’s also a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. One day he hopes to split his year between Arizona, Colorado, Indiana and Alaska, coming and going in concert with the hunting and fishing opportunities and weather. Camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, trail running – if it’s outside, he’s in.
