A man took in an injured fawn, rehabilitated it, then made sure it found its mom again. Get ready for the sweetest fawn rescue story out there.
A doe birthed two twin fawns in an outdoorsman’s backyard in the Rocky Mountains.
One of the fawns had something wrong with her leg.
When the mother never returned, the man worried it would be eaten since there are many predators around his property.
So the man adopted the injured fawn, at least for a little while. He fed her and made a cast for the little fawn’s hurt leg.
The little fawn then made good friends with the rest of the pets on the property.
Once the fawn’s leg healed, the man tried to find its real mother.
The fawn took quite a liking to its rescuer.
But then the mother doe was found and the fawn joined its original family. The man even saw them all together a few months later.
If you would like to watch the entire story, here it is.
The man admits in his YouTube caption that he does not “support keeping wild animals as a pets, but this was special situation.”
Like a true outdoorsman he says, “I am sure that any of us with a little bit of a conscience about our existence, with love for the nature and animals would do the same.”
