If you have read the book, like me, than you have probably been anticipating this movie for quite some time.

Chris Kyle, American Sniper, became the most lethal sniper in U.S. history with 160 confirmed kills. A native Texan and family man, Kyle will always be remembered.

He tragically lost his life, along with friend Chad Littlefield, in a shooting at a gun range in Erath County, Texas in February of 2013.

Kyle and Littlefield were reportedly trying to help a fellow service member, Eddie Ray Routh, suffering from PTSD when Routh fatally shot them both.

Our hearts go out to the friends and families of both these men that lost their life that day.

If you have not read the book, American Sniper, then I would highly recommend you do so before seeing the movie. The biography gives an in depth look at Kyle's childhood growing up in Texas, his personal life, and his initiation into the Navy SEALs.

The events that unfold in the book are some of the most incredible stories I have ever heard, and will give you the utmost appreciation for the men and women in uniform who make the ultimate sacrifice for American freedom.

Will anyone be going on Christmas day to see this movie?  Have you read the book yet?
