An Alaskan brown bear having a heart attack? We had never heard of it until we saw the video.
Any mammal can have a heart attack, including this brown bear in Alaska.
The bear acted disoriented and ran up the side of a big hill, almost as if being chased by the Grim Reaper. It then seized up and rolled down the hill. Hikers were taping the bear and saw the whole thing, but it was already dead by the time they reached it.
Usually, it’s the reverse situation. Bears give us heart attacks just by their sheer size, beastly teeth, claws, and day-ruining potential. This bear appeared to be struck down by a power much higher than that of a rifle.
Rest in peace, king of the Alaskan wilds.
