If you've watched almost any TV show or movie, you've probably seen someone getting shot and exhibiting an unrealistic reaction. It could be an overreaction (like flying backward 10 or 12 feet from a handgun wound) or just the opposite (like someone shrugging off a bullet wound to the leg and running down the street).
These five facts will help you separate gun truth from gun fiction.
The really bad part about getting shot is that it most likely could have been avoided. By practicing firearm safety and teaching it to every member of your household, you shouldn't ever have to worry about learning any of the facts in the video first hand.
