Even though it sounds incredible, Nick Mundt really did stalk this close to a mule deer in South Dakota. Watch the video to see just how he pulled it off.
As we’ve seen before, it is possible to get really close to a bedded mule deer if the wind is right and if you know what you are doing.
Watch as Nick Mundt pulls off a great stalk through a milo field out in South Dakota and gets an extreme close range shot on this nice mule deer buck.
Was that an awesome stalk or what? When bowhunting, it’s best to get as close as possible to your quarry. I’d say that by getting to within 9 feet of this buck, Mr. Nick Mundt fulfilled that goal by moving slowly and with the wind and sun both in his favor.
Have any of you gotten that close to a big game animal while hunting?
