Woods Explorers Wanted: Outdoorsman’s Dream Job

Woods Canada is looking for two Woods Explorers to represent the brand while exploring the Trans Canada Trail.

You can apply for the position as an individual or a pair. The selected applicants will be outfitted with Woods gear and earn a contract worth over $20,000, paid over the course of the five-month contract period.

To apply, send a 60-second video telling the company why you are the right person(s) for the job.

As a Woods explorer, you and your teammate would travel across Canada on the Trans Canada Trail, seeking out and visiting key points of interest along the way. You would also be responsible for creating compelling content about your trip including video, photos, journal or blog entries, and social media posts.

The Woods brand was founded in 1885 and has since become a leading provider of camping gear, footwear, and apparel. The goal of the Woods explorers will be to promote outdoor activities in Canada, particularly on the Trans Canada Trail which currently includes over 17,000 km of trails.

Woods explorers should be proficient and experienced campers, hikers, paddlers, and swimmers. They should respect their environment and leave no trace.
