This Woman Tried to Pet a Bison, But What Happens Next?

Video shot in Yellowstone Park near the Old Faithful Lodge shows a woman reaching out and attempting to pet a wild bison!

National Park Week kicked off with free entrance into the park and a strange sighting of a woman trying to put her hand on a wild bison and pet it.

The woman could be seen trying to get her hand on the bison’s head and stroke it as if it were a pet animal. The bison can then be seen bucking its head and trying to turn to ward the woman’s advances away.

The woman can just be seen making some dramatic gestures toward the extremely large animal before giving up and walking away, somehow unscathed!

Park officials reminded everyone that the park is not a ‘petting zoo’ and that wild animals can be very dangerous. People who don’t heed the warnings may not only get hurt, but can be fined for the act as well.
