Iraqveteran8888 checks out the deadliest bullet ever, the minie ball.

Warfare was forever changed during the American Civil War. This is largely in part to the devastating minie ball.

With great accuracy and horrendous wound-causing capabilities, the minie ball changed warfare by the sheer number of killed and wounded. Troop movements marching in tight formations would be cut down by the deadly minie balls. These new conical lead bullets when connecting with an arm or leg left battle field surgeons no choice but to saw off the wounded appendage.

Iraqveteran8888 actually fires some authentic Civil War-era minie balls dug up in Georgia. He also tried out some newly cast projectiles for one incredible ballistic gelatin bullet testing video.
