Wisconsin’s Blaze Pink Bill Deemed Sexist by Women’s Hunting and Sport Association

Is Wisconsin’s ‘Pink Camo’ bill just an effort to attract more female hunters? Some are calling it sexist.

The Women’s Hunting and Sport Association thinks that the belief behind the bill, that more women will start hunting because of the new proposed blaze pink camo, is sexist. Women have earned respect and are viewed as equals while hunting, and many women hunters are insulted by this bill.

Proposed after the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s study that found blaze pink to be just as effective as blaze orange, this new study is angering a few female hunters in the community.

Non-hunting women questioned for this video stated that the pink camo option will not persuade them to start hunting themselves.

So if women who are currently hunters are insulted by this bill, and non-hunting women say the pink camo bill will not persuade them to start, who will support the blaze pink bill?

Rep. Nick Milroy (D), South Range, however, still believes that it will encourage more people in general to become involved in the sport.

So what are the chances of you trading up your blaze orange for pink camo next season?
