Get Ready for Some Winter Fishing Action

Just because it's cold doesn't mean you can't boat some fish.

Winter can be the best time to catch some chunky fish. In fact most of the lunker bucket mouths have been taken in the months of January through March.

If  you don't believe me watch the video below to show it isn't just big bass that are biting.

This video makes  a point to say they are fishing slow. In fact if you think you are fishing slow, well fish slower. Cold water fish are lethargic and don't want to work after a lure if they don't have to so give them some time. The next key point is because you are fishing slow it is extremely important to match the shad. If you can figure out what the fish are eating get as close as you can.

Fishing slow means that your potential catch is getting a good look at your lure.
