Will This Chernobyl Mutant Catfish Leave This Guy His Hand? [VIDEO]

Mutant catfish are fearless. This one only gets closer and closer.

Do you want to pet a catfish in Chernobyl? This guy really wanted to. This badass fish with the whisker-lips was waiting for him and he isn’t shy.

Watch and see if he leaves with any fingers.

Or his life.

This YouTube user states that this is near Pripyat, which was founded in 1970 as the ninth “nuclear city” of the former Soviet Union. Pripyat was built for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and officially proclaimed a city in 1979. On April 26, 1986 the Chernobyl power plant suffered an explosion and fire that released a mass of radioactive particles in the air that spread across the western part of the USSR.

There have been reports of mutants in the area ever since the accident. As to whether or not this is a mutant catfish, we may never know. All I know is that the catfish is unafraid of this guy and probably everyone else for that matter; pretty aggressive too.

What are you thinking, is this fish a mutant because it lives so close to Chernobyl?
