Those looking to learn more about wild turkey hunting, better head to North Carolina for the upcoming spring seminars.
Wild turkey hunting seminars will be held across North Carolina in March and April for the upcoming turkey season.
The seminars will he available for beginners to experts and anyone in-between who wants to learn more about wild turkey hunting. They will be organized by N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Newcomers to wild turkey hunting will have the chance to learn about biology, hunting methods, firearms, ammo selection, camouflage clothing, turkey cleaning, and cooking techniques, while proficient hunters can elect to lean about advanced biology, complex hunting tactics, decoys, and calls.
Attendance for the wild turkey seminars will be free, but the classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Anyone younger than 16 must have parental permission to attend. The wild turkey hunting seminars will take place at over 16 locations in the Tarheel State.
