These trail cameras captured images and video of genet riding around on the backs of large animals. It’s pretty great.
This genet, a type of spotted cat, has been captured multiple times hitching a ride by Wildlife ACT.
Check out the pictures the game cameras have caught of this cat taking a ride!
The photos and video were taken in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve in South Africa. The cat was first photographed on the top of a buffalo before the video of it on an endangered black rhino was taken. It now has the awesome nickname of “Genet Jackson.”
The images are just the latest in a line of images of animals taking “piggy-back” rides to go viral this year. First it was a weasel riding a woodpecker, then a raccoon riding an alligator and finally a crow riding a bald eagle.
This must be the latest trend for animals.
Genet Jackson might have been a bull rider in a previous life based on how well it holds onto the rhino as it desperately tries to buck it off!
