As a woman who has friends in the non-hunting world, I can sympathize with the wives of hunters who are proud of their husbands but are scared to show it off on Facebook lest their non-hunter friends see and become offended. While many wives are content to not share in the bragging rights of a good hunt, the recent possible record-breaking 728-pound black bear kill in Virginia was too exciting for the wife of Tyler Napier (who shot the bear) to not share with her Facebook friends. After posting various photos of her husband with the bear, and photos of just the bear, Jessica had had enough of the uproar from her anti friends, and posted the eloquent message below:

It takes a lot of guts to stand up for what you believe in, so we’re giving Jessica a round of applause here at the office for saying what needed to be said and sticking by her man. Here’s to hoping that in the future posting about exciting hunting adventures will be received with congratulations, and not objection.
