Which is Better for Sailfishing, Cero Mackerel or Live Bait?

A couple anglers head out on an adventure inshore style and have great success with sailfish.

In this video Victor and Brooke get out to do some excellent inshore sailfishing in Florida.

Watch and learn some great tips about using live bait to catch these fish.

Slow trolling a live mackerel, these two hooked a huge sailfish, and it was a first for them both. Note how they got the second sailfish back in the water and made sure it was okay before letting it go. They held it by the nose while slowly moving the boat so water could rush through its gills.

Did you see what happened to the bonita fish after the kingfish sliced it right down the middle? It looked like the fish was cut with a knife precisely in half, and it just missed the treble hook.

If you want to catch bigger fish, consider using larger bait and hooking them up the way Victor did by using the swivel to connect the two hooks.
