When is the Pen Mightier Than the Sword? When it’s the Braverman “Stinger” Pen Gun

Ian from Forgotten Weapons shows us all about the Braverman "Stinger" Pen Gun.

The old saying “The pen is mightier than the sword” might actually be true.

That is, when the pen actually shoots bullets. Ian from Forgotten Weapons shows us all about the Braverman “Stinger” Pen Gun.

Sometimes, things are not what they appear. Ian from Forgotten Weapons is armed even though he appears not to be. A pen gun in his front pocket is a last-ditch-style weapon of defense.

R.J. Braverman came up with a pen gun that folds into a pistol form. He named it the Stinger and it was available in .22 long rifle, .22 magnum, .25 ACP, .32 ACP and even a .380 ACP conversion kit. While it is a bit bigger than an average pen, this single-shot pistol never really was an interesting idea that just never caught on.

Once again, Forgotten Weapons has found quite an odd weapon to share with us. Special thanks to Ian for keeping firearm history alive.
