As Hacker says, “I got something epic: Russian MRE taste test.” First things first: the expiration date was Jan. 31, 2008.

So, what’s inside the pouch? Napkins, tea, salt and pepper, sugar, matches, meat, potatoes, crackers, jam and more.

The results of the taste test of this Russian MRE that has been out of date for eight years?

“I love a lot of things about this,” says the hacker. “I’m definitely going to give it thumbs up.”

It’s obvious he enjoys it from the noises he makes and the way he shovels the food into his face with one of the three spoons provided. Then, he starts mixing things together for flavor.

His favorite? The jam on crackers. Go to around 12:30 in the video for his reaction.
