What Happens When You Shoot a Propane Tank with a Compound Bow?

Have you always wondered what would happen if you shot a propane tank with a compound bow? Well, you came to the right place to find out.

Tim Kjellesvik (from The Thinking Woodsman) decided to answer that question by shooting a propane tank with his compound bow during his regular "Will It Kill It" video. In this video, he shoots one of the small one-pound propane canisters that are popular for use with lanterns and camping stoves.

Since they weren't sure what was going to happen, he shot the propane tank with his Mathews No Cam HTX compound bow from around the corner of a building in an effort to get some cover from a potential explosion or fire that resulted from his shot. It took a couple of shots to get a good, solid hit on the propane tank with his DirtNap Gear Broadhead, but the results were pretty impressive.

Watch the video to see what happened:

Pretty cool, right?

While the arrow did not cause a spark that would start a fire or explosion, it was still pretty crazy seeing all that pressurized propane venting from the canister like that.

This is not the only random thing Tim's shot with a bow: he also has some pretty cool videos of himself arrowing a fire extinguisher, a spinning circular saw, and an iPhone.
