Video: Young Angler Hauls in Four Spotted Bass on an Alabama Rig

Four-year-old Zeke comes up big as his dad takes the video!

The Alabama (umbrella) rig as the ability to catch multiple fish, especially bass, on one cast. It's becoming more and more popular, too, as every angler wants in on some of the action.

In this case, young Zeke battles four nice spots and lets his father scoop them up in the landing net.

Here's the awesome video:

First off, way to go, Zeke! That's a great look at a young man who will be a fisherman for life, thanks to his dad.

However, many of the folks watching this are completely of the mindset that this is somehow fake. The fish are obviously alive and healthy; even the baits can be seen in their mouths.

Anyone who thinks the rod should have been bent more has obviously never used a heavy-action bass rod before. Heavier rods are almost mandatory for using a big heavy rig like this.

And you just can't fake the reaction of both the father and son! Congratulations to this little guy on a great catch!
