Watch This Wisconsin State Trooper Cut a Deer out of a Fence

state trooper

It’s never a dull day when you’re a Wisconsin state trooper.

When one thinks of the job of a state trooper, handing out speeding tickets and responding to accident scenes are likely what comes to mind. But on this day, Wisconsin state trooper Daren Plantz instead found himself responding to a call of a deer with its leg stuck in the fence.

This was definitely this doe’s lucky day. You have to love how she quits thrashing and calms down a little after he tells her, “Hold on!”

As if having to try and survive the winter wasn’t enough, this poor doe would have died a slow death if not for this state trooper. Often when a deer gets tangled up in a fence, they suffer for a long time and aren’t found until it’s too late. Well done trooper Plantz!
