A wedge-tailed eagle in Australia was filmed attacking a drone and knocking it right out of the sky.
Here’s an eagle-eye-view of a drone in flight that got too close to a flying predator that wasn’t very happy about it.
As YouTube user Melbourne Aerial Video said, “This is the last thing a small bird sees when a wedge-tailed eagle decides that you are dinner…”
Hard to believe, but according to the drone operator the bird was fine and sustained no injuries.
Aerial vehicles should not be operated near birds of prey because they will attack it. In turn, it may cost you a hefty fine, and worst of all it could cause a devastating injury to the animal.
Sounds like these folks should’ve taken their own advice.
