Check out this footage of the world-record mako shark that was caught last week in Florida.
On Tuesday evening, land-based shark anglers Earnie and Joe Polk caught the massive shortfin mako from an undisclosed location on the Florida Panhandle.
The anglers tried to keep their catch a secret, but a candid picture of the 805-pound shark strapped to the back of their truck went viral last week after it was posted to Facebook.
Today, Barcroft TV posted footage of the Polks pulling in the huge shark from the surf.
Take a look.
The Polks have three world record land-based shark catches between them.
They told reporters last week that they will distribute the meat from the shark to friends and family.
Mako will surely be on their dinner table for many nights to come.
Do you think the Polks should have kept the shark? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
